During his research-oriented integrated BSc–MSc program, Evgenii focused on developing synthetic methods and exploring the reactivity of boron hydride clusters. He then pursued a PhD in the group of Dr. Sergey Semenov at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where his interests expanded to the field of electrochemistry, including organic electrosynthesis and electrochemical engineering, and out-of-equilibrium phenomena, with a particular focus on organic reaction networks and reaction–diffusion patterns. In December 2025, Evgenii joined the group of Prof. W.T.S. Huck as a postdoctoral researcher within the Big Chemistry consortium to investigate self-thinking molecular systems and chemical information processing.
