Alexander received his Specialist degree (B.Sc. + M.Sc.) in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in 2023 at the NWO Institute AMOLF, where his research focused on femtosecond infrared spectroscopy of condensed systems. From 2023 to 2025, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Molecules and Materials (AI4SMM) consortium at the University of Amsterdam, developing machine learning models to predict thermal properties of novel materials for sustainable heat storage. Since October 2025, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the RobotLab, Radboud University Nijmegen
